The sun is shining bright today
No clouds are in my sky
The birds are warbling sweetly
Saying hello as they pass by
Maybe its a little message
In answer to my prayer
Telling me He heard it
On his throne thats way up there
Whatever is the reason
It makes my heart feel light
Just knowing that He listens
Makes everything alright
Im not such a religious man
Yet I believe in God
Im open to His every word
A wink..or even a nod
After all he is my Father
The best one that I've had
To Him I give the honour
His spirit makes me glad
