A bridge can be burnt in an instant,
Though it can take years to build.
A solid base, support, protection,
Yet so easy to be killed.
Goodbye is a hard word to believe,
But believe in it you must.
Some bridges must be burnt to the ground,
It's best to leave in the dust.
When you feel the flames are climbing up,
You must promise not to stay.
If not the bridge will rise around you,
And you'll never get away.
It can take years to build such a bridge,
A bridge you love in turn,
So slow to build, yet so fast to fall.
So why's it hardest to burn?
