I have a pet, it’s big and mean,
I feed it fish and chips.
It’s a T-Rex, all scaly and dark green,
huge teeth behind its lips.
I found it in my wood-shed,
my mother doesn’t know.
I hide it underneath my bed,
Oh I hope it doesn’t grow!
Imagine the fuss, should it get free,
would my parents mind it?
But it’s my T-Rex, belongs to me,
I hope they never find it!
Perhaps one day, if it does grow,
maybe it roars too loudly.
I’ll let it loose in the park I know,
as it chases bullies I’ll watch proudly.
