my son and you
are what gets me through
the times when I am completely down
and feel like I can't go on
I've had thoughts to end my life
and have tried before
since you both came in my life
when I feel really down
and feel like I can't go on
I think of you both
and how much you both mean to me
the reason why I'm still here
and the way I'm feeling
and thoughts I'm having just disappear
like they were never there
