awakening swallowed in pitch black
no longer moving I'm securely trapped
walls enclosing in on me tightly
all memory gone, completely vanished
gasping for air, am I even breathing?
scared, I'm pleading, screaming out
but no voice escapes past my lips
warm water droplets start falling
I feel within them a sense of grief
confused, everything starts moving
in a blink, daylight blinds my eyes
beautiful black wings have emerged
taking me to the skies I float above
looking down over a melancholy scene
people dressed in black all around
weeping, pouring tears over a casket
as its getting lowered in the ground
upon my wrists I notice dried blood
memories come crashing in like waves
anguish spilt from crimson carvings
with tears in my eyes, glancing down
remembering deep hurt I tried burying
past demons, their cruelty displayed
how hauntingly they led me to my grave
