Aditi Khandelwal - Phases Of Moon

2014-11-10 2

She is staring at the full moon
A lonely lovely little girl
Her beautiful eyes smudged with tears
It's her age to think about Goldilocks and bears
And in her hair make soft curls
But she is an orphan, last time remembering the night of doom.

A man with perfect looks is staring at the full moon
It was his twentieth birthday the very day
People sang for him, but he could not hear a word
A dropp of tear escaped from his eyes like a free bird
Every time when on his bed he lays
He knows life will bring him happiness as a boon.

An old woman is staring at the full moon
Remembering her son who she doesn't meet anymore
Her face is full of lovely freckles
And she has dreadful paining ankles
But she knows, this moon will go with all sorrow from core
And there will be endless happiness in her soon.
