Victorious flowers from ıts tricolor garden.
The nation salutes, rejoicing women
And children parade along soldiers’s band.
Anthems and honoury melodies boom at every stand.
The stately flag flutters and sways
Inspiring and joyous as morning rays.
Celebrating the nation’s free spirit
Reminding legends of toil and pain ın ıt;
Fought and won by leaders gentle
And warriors of tough mettle.
The march of satyagrah at dandi
The collective chants echoing ‘azaadi’
Patriot souls being lead to gallows
Massacared ınnocents ın trapped forts.
Today again remember o! Brethen
The unshaken valour of sacrificing youth;
Smiling faces braving the lethal red coats;
Paving path against the maze of shrewd diplomacy
With the powerful tool of non-violence
O! How the simpleton lead on
- conquering supremacy
Winning the jubliant midnight moment
When destiny heralded an era fresh.
So, see today has again burst forth
Vibrant confetti of universal triumph
Symbolising our freedom global way
Hence a very happy ındependence day
