A shoulder that once
supported weight.
Sheltered a lover’s head.
Now forsaken
cannot carry own.
A silhouette never meant
to stand alone.
Fades into darkening
decadent desolate backdrop.
Whilest future breaks
into broken tomorrow.
Reason lies groundless.
A shoulder soothed once.
Supported weight.
Consoled a lover’s head.
Now forsaken.
Reason lies groundless.
A silhouette lives on alone.
