Little by little I wasted away
No one could keep the pain at bay
Soon enough the Darkness drew near
And the only thing I felt was pure fear
That once was would become naught
That I would never find all that I sought...
But then in answer to my blight
A ray of light
My hope was returned
The Darkness I now spurned
For it would be the light that would carry me off
So tender and soft
The Darkness forgotten
I remebered my life
And realized that the light was an escape from my strife
If atleast I entered the light.
