Life will take you places you never meant to go-
Where you hurt, where you ache, where you swim
against the flow.
People love you, people hate you; they take you, break you
Rip you into shreds.
They want you, need you, leave you, and end up
Making you instead.
Hurting hurts, the pain is real, but
Struggle through! -And Why?
To learn how best to persevere,
To rid your character of all fear,
To show you next the way that's clear-
To give you hope next time you're
Left out to Dry.
