Forgiveness Is Not The Same As Forgetting
EVERYTHING...yes EVERYTHING of any consequence
is stored in this super computer brain of mine.
Yes, I can forgive almost any deed and I
readily admit I have a hard time
with that...however I can't forget.
There's that deep hidden place in me where the bitterness
of betrayal keeps fighting to rear its ugly head. There
are times when it's almost impossible to suppress that
hurt and anger...but I keep trying.
I forgive you...but it's a fragile forgiveness ready
to be shattered at the least provocation.
Do I really forgive you? I don't know. I
really don't know.
