Suryakaanti (Sunflower, Helianthus annuus)
You appear to me like a celestial chit
Dropped lost on your dad's solar inspection
When vacillates your heart east to west
Following your dad's path with anticipation
Your blossoms are sunny fanning around
Centered supporting, a disk of seedy thicket
They appear to me like your sticky tears hardened
Of a melancholic squeeze of a sorrowful heart
Dear flower, may I call you the 'Sunflower'
Your semblance as is so of the yellow sun
Your palmy-leafy stand says 'don't worry ever'
For you are for our use on and often
