Janice Windle - (Stuff and Nonsense) Cautionary Tale - the History of Miss X

2014-11-10 1

The elevating history of Miss X who found True Love upon the Internet.

A quiet single girl, Miss X,
longed to meet the other sex
but being most extremely shy
she’d let her chances pass her by.

She registered with MeetAMate
posted her photo on the Net -
an old one – although pushing forty
she’d lied, “I’m twenty –five, and naughty! ”

A date was planned, a meeting place -
the man looked at her aging face
and said, “I really have to leave -
My wife is sick! ” – would you believe!

Miss X went home, she didn’t care -
MARRIED! And he had NO HAIR!
Miss X rewrote her own description;
she told the truth, with no deception

and was besieged by handsome bucks
all in their twenties, wanting love
from a mature, maternal wife -
she chose the best, and CHANGED HER LIFE!

Moral:
Truth is sexier than fiction
