Each night I cry a thousand tears
and die a thousand times in dreams
because you are no longer here
and I am locked within these prison walls.
Saunders was to blame for this grim tragedy.
If he had not seduced you with his smile
and took you away from me
jealousy might not have eaten at the soul of me.
When I came home late on that fateful night
and saw you both together lying
so close to one another within our family bed.
Something snapped within me
and now no longer and neither of you are here
and I sit on death row
waiting my death to be
and each night I cry a thousand tears
and die a thousand times for the deed I done.
