I had a dream.. of a gentle soul,
That loves the simple things in life,
Where peace abounds,
And heavenly beauty lies.
The day you came into my world
You made my dream come true,
My sleeping soul awoke,
And broke the night in two.
Today I cried as I drove to work,
As the words..I’m ready to rise again,
Unveiled the intensity
Of my soul rising.
It’s all because of you,
My special friend,
Who God has sent,
To make dreams come true.
But wait……………….
For every dream that you make real,
You get one in return.
That’s the deal……..
And so on this precious day,
Send your dream to the heavens above,
For as the future will become the present,
So will you find your love.
But.. before you rest,
Your work is not done,
You sold me a dream,
Of the ocean and sun…
