Its not a lost cause
If a window still remains
Look through its glass
Smile at the world
It’s there waiting
And that’s all it ever does
On the other side
Life looks electric
Are you trapped?
Sinking deeper in lonliness
But freedom lies in solitude
Peaceful, calming
No walls to hold your thoughts
Just let them flow,
Flying free over the waves
Carried by the wind
Its all freedom
Inside each owns mind
So where are you?
Stuck indoors
Staring through the window
At the wildly world untouched
But suppose you walked outside
What would you find?
The beauty etched away
Nothing as the way it seemed
From the safe walls behind
So in the darkened room you dream
Of all the things that could be
And still you see through the glass
captivated by true sunlight
Tell yourself to still believe
In the hills so lush
The trees so alive
And spend the rest of time
Dreaming inside
in your own world of mind
