Obed dela Cruz - Let It Be Your Will To Do Good

2014-11-10 5

It’s hard to do a thing against your will.
There’s a command and you want to conceal.
There is this heavy sorrow in your heart.
You decide, this work, you will not start.

We were given a better privilege.
It’s like a gift more than our knowledge.
This gift or privilege is called “free will”
Making a good use of this must be a deal.

Yes, doing good works may not be easy,
But goodness should hold us very firmly.
It’s hard when the world benefit from you,
But change in our world should begin with you.

Listen, let it be your will to do good.
This is not just because goodness is should,
But to make you happy as you do fine.
Don’t do well just for your name to shine.

Believe me, it will be much more better,
If to this world you’ll not be bitter.
Let it be your will to do good daily.
Remind yourself to be humble though you’re shiny!
