When you see her smile
Illuminating up your world
Left breathless all the while

When she looks at you
Piercing the depths of your eyes
Whenever she speaks the truth
I hope you’re happy
When all you hear is her voice
A musical trill in the air
Singled out from the noise
I hope you’re happy
When she keeps you company
Seeking comfort in her presence
And everything she could be
I hope you’ll be happy
When smiling gets too hard
And seeing you hurts too much
When I’ve been broken apart
But I’ll try to be happy
If it means you will be too
And if she is what it takes
Then that’s what I’ll do
