Herbert Nehrlich 2 - Sleep Now

2014-11-10 0

Sleep now my precious rose,
the moon is home tonight,
And as the terror grows
no gods will hear our plight.
Abandoned due to flaws
within their master plan
we need to forge new laws
to save the life of man.
A few of us now stand
defying church and Pope,
I stay to hold your hand
and tell you of new hope.
All days shall be, to wit,
ruled by Almighty Sun,
for nights we shall commit
Old Cheese for the long run.
But worry not my child
I cradle you my love,
at home and in the wild
we shun the ghosts above
