saadat tahir - Nestor’s Nothingness! ...empty existence.

2014-11-10 1

Unanswered, thrusty heave,
destined; for the desert cleave,
bereft of life.
Blazing sun’s spear returns. Strife!
Underlay of my desire,
My raging fire,
redolently irrigated; by,
sparkle of my bloods lie.
I revive a thousand years,
shake hands with fate, its sneers.
Again, awake, aghast I shy.
Cringe I cry.
From my heart’s cherished dirt
Blazes burn, the body learns. Spurt!
Turn the cheek, yet expect,
Meekly resurrect.
Eternally amazed.
Dumb, crazed.
Denied.
Silently cried.
Plunge; oh hooded one! Softly,
my ideals are lofty.
Lest I cry out in a wrenching shriek.
Labeled unworthy, less ardent freak.
The treachery of time,
ticking somewhere, in realms sublime.
Observes,
loath, conserves.
The blade, wipes!
For the coming swipes!
I bow, I the criminal, I the crime.
I know? Nothing is mine!
