Summer glistens
bright, white hot
a hazy laziness to relax in.
Passion filled
and glowing with joy
as the breeze makes the trees dance in the heat.
Anything is possible
in the glorious warm of the sun.
For days grow long and corn stalks grow tall
and all seems right in the world
The worries and dreads
of the winter past
were melted away in spring
now to be replaced at solstice
with love and life and laughter.
In the tenacious heat of day
and the welcome chill of night
passion floods ones senses
lust shall have its strife.
From the gentle brush of sand
to the sweet press of moss
each caress from mother nature sings the rein of Earth!
In the blue sky of day
the sun will surly play
and in the dark whisper of night
the moon will bathe the world in sultry delight.
For summer has always been
the home of beauty, instinct, passion
and the adored sensual flight.
