I sit silent and seek no solace
Search for hut and not the palace
Simple desire with no strings attached
Emotionally bound but never feel detached,
My soul cry over the sufferings and misery
Pray for blessings even for adversary
I want to be apostle for needy and poor
Serve to the best of ability from door to door
Can I not spend little time for needy?
World is moving fast and people are greedy?
No time for peasants and country men
this can be sign of downfall and bad omen
if I can wipe the tears and distribute food
Kind words which may prove to be good
providing shelters and taking them out of wood
Medicines and food along with fresh supply of blood
These are all impracticable and idealistic views
May not be shared by many but only few
Thoughts may peter out as morning dews,
Headlines may appear but not as good news,
I may not venture and go for big move
Try at least for apprehensions to remove
Let needy dream and wait for good words
If not men but blessings from the Lord
