Seairra Kyger - Farther Away

2014-11-10 9

We know that it’s all to far apart
But when we speak
Every time we talk
We light a spark
And it’s fallen on old leaves of conversation
And lit them onto fire
We glow in the satire

Our laughter never stops
But our lives are pulled apart
By the empty space in between
This one half of my heart
That I Fed-Ex'ed to you
I know it is safe
In your arms

The miles will not quit
And I would walk them all
To get to that one point
Where we are hand in hand
Both standing tall

The things I try to hide
They pour onto the floor
Where my heart use to lay
Stolen from me
By someone I barely see
Almost as if you were here
Here with me
