October 21,2005: For six weeks this autumn, Denmark’s capital city of Copenhagen attracts the world’s most prominent designers to the first-ever International Design Festival. The festival, which this year runs from September 23 to November 11, focuses on the history of native Scandinavian design as well as upcoming Danish designers. This ancient capital is the largest city in Denmark, and its maritime history and culture sets a strong precedent for beauty in design.
