though you hurt me and broke my heart

when we parted ways
when you stabbed me in the heart with your words,
i still prayed for you
i prayed you find happiness and all your hearts desires
most of all i prayed you find love,
because you turned into a vicious unpleasant human being
love would warm you up and make you pleasant
at times i hated you and wished i never knew you
but i still prayed for you
even when i didn't feel like it, i prayed for you
i prayed for you even when i felt defeated
i prayed for you every night
i pray for you even though you still hate me
i always will pray for you
