Rainbows And Kisses
by Barbara Lynn Terry

As we sat in the old jalopy
to get out of the rain,
we kissed and we kissed
until the storm passed by.

Then we took out the blanket,
the picnic basket full of goodies
we set the blanket on the ground,
and sat down to enjoy our feast.

As we were laughing the rain
began pouring down again
and we just lay there
in the embrace of romance.

As the rain went away
a beautiful rainbow made its way
onto the beautiful blue sky
as we lay there, in kisses of love.
