Sitting admiring my breakfast -
Coffee
Water, heat, coffee beans, grinding power, milk, and sugar
Toasted muffin
Muffin, heat, butter, and marmalade
Orange juice
Morning paper
- I got to thinking how
It had all come together on my table
But the supply chain length and complexity
Quickly overwhelmed me
Even if I left out the table, the breakfast room
And the money to pay for it all
Leaving me thinking how fragile!
This system that supports my breakfast!
