Candice Renae Williams - Three Parts Lacking Any Thought Beyond One

2014-11-10 0

1.
I’m only a freak shelf
Jolly walking tick stick
Clicking rombs rub a tub
Meeting juice like
A bookend
I wane to begin
Rough ya here or serperate
Like an occasion
To fidget with the midget
Black white,
Holy cow.

2.
Rubber Duck folds his glasses,
Yellow plastic squeaking like this,
“Unclah squee, Unclah squee”
Beady eyes watching me
siting there, a duck for stew
“Unclah squee, Unclah squee”
tipping his head- an angling- dead
ducky snappy at me—beak orange red
“Unclah squee, Unclah squee”

3.
Gum folded gum held
Little girl rolling eyes
Boy coughs, starts to choke
Creasing up the lines
He’s now lying by his spine
Blow Bop Blow Pop
Gum snapped gum dead
Little girl shot in the head
Behind the gum lying
In the jaw—spittle falls,
Reality y’all.
