Candice Renae Williams - A Strange Fear

2014-11-10 0

While speaking I
Noticed my sister move into my sight
And suddenly she was not 12
But 4 to my fright.
Her face had contorted in my minds eye
And I stared at the face of her little girl eyes
Fear, Fear drenched my body in cold sweat
She mumbled her sufferings in a continous lull
But all of my focus was fixed to her face
Youth, innocent
God, forgive me this rebase
For I began to back away
From this vision-my eyes now closed tight
God please take it away
just leave me alone this night
And so with a keening cry
I ran right up to my bed
and fumbled with the light.
