The distance between us
Is killing me
How do I go on
When I can't see
I feel so alone
Like I'm the only one here
I hate this feeling
I need to be near
The one I love
With all my heart
I really hate this feeling
Of drifting apart
I feel like I'm living
In nothing but dark
There is no light
No angels to hark
To hear my prayer
To hear my screams
I can't stand this
It all just seems
To be slipping away
Right through my hands
Like time through and hour glass
Life's nothing but sand
So I'll stand here and wait
Alone in the dark
Waiting and listening
For the angels to hark.
