Yemen's ruling party, the General People's Congress, has dismissed President Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi from its ranks. He is accused of soliciting UN sanctions against his predecessor Ali Abdullah Saleh. On Friday, Hadi announced the formation of a new government. But the GPC has refused to back it.
