Dire Fate's end
Chopping through that ribbon
Cut through time
And forged in steel
The beginning, end and middle
Of my life's course
Some ribbons longer
Other shorter
There I go
Coasting along a sunbeam
And finding myself
On the other side of hope.
Waiting for that tender day to come.
