look and see
come and behold
what has happened to me
my life was over
you gave me hope
I was dead
you coaxed me to live
I had learned to swallow my tears
you taught me to smile
my heart was buried deep underground
you fanned the embers and lit it up
look and see
come and behold
what has happened to me
Now
If I was dead before
What am I now?
Living is more painful than death?
but I am not alive
neither am I dead yet
