Herbert Nehrlich - Traverse Le Fleuve

A man can visit foreign lands
and have a drink, or hold strange hands
but if he drinks more than he holds
his soul's chiffon gown shrinks and folds
soon after he goes on the brink
and sells his soul, all for a drink.
