Wendy Bureau - Claustrophobic Heart

2014-11-08 1

Diminished of love's potential
A claustrophobic heart, begs for air
Eyes that once bore adoration
Blink only, of desolate stare

Strangled in lovers' lament
Each breath, made not of will
Precisely plucking each petal away
Baring a flower of bloom, doth kill

Innocent as a rose of white
Purest of purity, a soul divine
A heart budding, in romance's light
Offering growth, without decline

Destiny's three threads of fate
Solely strummed, by the Moiria's hand
Signify, beginning, middle and end
Three daughters' of life, they command

Defenseless against, truth of myth
Lovers' destined, shall surely be
Strengthened hand of endless will
Rewrite this tale, solely for me
