' A Solitary Wail ' by David Hart
This delightful life deciduous
O, my sometime annealed soul
A regatta most recalcitrant
now sheparded - de rigueur -
to a most untoward
disagreable Abaddon
Hale and able bodied in juvenescence
a taciturn bawcock I
Anon,
through myriad zephyrs of pernicious
declensions
through streets of leviathans
with their scythes of zealotry.
In rude columbariums
twisted polestars
of epistemological ranting-
Innumerable transmutations
of my Weltangchanung-
I DID HOWL ~~~
this wail of life
my walk through miles
of beckoning slatterns,
vulgar vulpine
coquettes,
and slavering gerontions
Oh how annealed my battered soul
my ululant wreck of a soul
I am a mere lusus naturae
a disembodied cowalker -
a howling remnant
a recrement.
