You say you are lonely! !
Come see my world
Harvesting the seeds of solitude
And singing a melancholy fugue
Everyday I creep inside those four walls of utter oblivion
Shut to the world, numb to the pain that shines gloriously on my face,
And every night, the silent mourning is witnessed
By a heart losing its trace
Dark inside, deep beneath, it thrives on my soul,
Everyday, I lie on my bed, searching with empty stares, in a dark room.
And that slightest flutter, accompanies me in my hour of gloom,
Rusting memories placed atop a precarious table,
Photographs lying on the floor,
And some memories ravaged like forgotten fables
The coven of the ash, devastated by the gust of wind
I lie watering the roots of intoxication in my veins,
Which feeds me with a momentary pleasure amidst meticulous pain
Sardonic laughter echoes back to me, stirring a peaceful ache,
Which craves me for a self obsessed abate
In realms of depression, that is how I survive
Ossified and subdued
Tears frozen beyond redemption
And a soul beyond virtue
Death of words solaced by the wails of dissension
And you say you are lonely! !
Come see my world
