all desert life clings

by Nature's forces
A desolate world
unfolds its splendor flora
and fauna abounds
A sharp eye perceives
many things missed by others
sit still and listen
The Wise Ones older
than the Grand Canyon whisper
secrets from their souls
Earth's expanding crust
a magical awesome view
Nature's big picture

claims from sunrise to sunset touch
upon horizons
Roaring through chasms
the wild river rolls contained
by deep rocky cliffs
Great, wise or short lived
the sands and water meeting
flora and fauna

colours from rust to shadows

Condors rise on thermal winds
