There are two classes of folks -
Those who do...
And those who
Tell US what to do! !
Now, those who
Tell us what to do
Love the limelight,
And a spotlight or two...
They relish the renown
Of being known about town,
And being talked about,
And making lots of sounds
In print. and speaking aloud,
Being so very proud
Of telling all the rest of us
When, and where, and how
We should live, and move,
And act and speak,
Not to mention
How to write, and think,
They go about their day,
With lots of things to say....
On being the ones to tell
Us what to do...and how...
Those of us who DO
Go on our way each day,
Getting the job done,
Ignoring the clanging bells! !
