Rivers O'Donahue - Memories and Photographs

2014-11-08 1

Sepia toned and black and white
Scattered all over the floor
Photographs from years ago
Things that matter no more

Photos from happier times
When we were together, you and me
Carefree, simple and loving
Anything we wanted we could be

Rip them in two, tear them to shreds
Reduce them to tiny pieces
Seeing them makes me remember
And my anger only increases

How could you do that, how could you lie?
How could you do that to me?
All of that pain you put me through,
And pretending that you couldn't see.

Sepia toned and black and white
Photographs torn to shreds.
Memories from years ago,
Of a love that is dead.
