Fierce, glittering winter-bright Moon,
Lighting this white, mysterious world.
Shine throughout night, he'll be home soon
And need your lamp to keep unfurling
Each rise and fall of glistening
Snow-bound field and hidden lane.
I'll stand with candle, - listening.
Please guide his way back here again.
