nothing important but the simple basics

black eyes and swollen lips degrading comments
i am nothing i am shit. you spit venom
that burns holes in my skin the usual
who is this stranger asleep in my bed
i don't know this person i once knew
because he's gone he left me a long time ago
fistful of hair dragging me down
hit me so hard it made the world flip
my chest i can't breathe my wind pipe
feels damaged i can't manage
i have to get away but what will he say
what will he do i'm screwed
flashbacks of the last time i tried to leave
i almost died of the pistol whip i recieved
i'm am his property he says i owe him
for everything he's done for me
