Pine cones on a woodland floor
Where leaves have browned and fell
The heavy scent of forest fare
A distinctive musty smell
Hedgehogs hunt the dampened earth
While worms go down to hide
Where mushrooms grow among the trees
Along the shady side
See all of this and so much more
When walking in a wood
A freshness that is nature’s way
To make us all feel good
