Lorraine Margueritte Gasrel Black - Wind In The Willow

2014-11-08 1

A curtain gently combed
By the wind in the willow
Haloed in amber and blue
Red leaves are burning
Green needles earning
A cushion to Fall's angry rue

A blanket now covers
The wind in the willow
Decked in grey and blue
All creatures stirring
Winged friends yearning
The whisper of Spring's early cue.
