I once was young
but now I am old.
Where did all those day's
months
all those years go?
Once was a child
now an old man.
Face old and wrinkled
where freckles once sparkled
I now think back
when I was such a handsome man
strong build, thick hair
such a lady's man!
now I sit and think of the times I had
not all the good times even the bad.
My hair now thinning
my bodies gone
But the lady's still love me
they call me grandpa.
