nicole erickson - Mask

2014-11-08 3

She wears a mask to hide the pain
Out her window she sees the rain
No one hears it when she cries
No one cares if she dies
She hopes that God hears her pray
That he will save her soul one day
To herself she will scream,
Hoping to wake from a dream
Always hit, Always teased
Never loved, Never pleased
Faking a smile everyday
As if to say shes okay
her heart cries out for love for joy
But in the end she just a toy
To be used and thrown away
She wears a mask to hide the pain
The blood now pouring from her vein
