The road is narrow,
the pavement cracked.
I'm still enamored
with it's mosaic of grey
and black, it's perfect dullness,
as I was in childhood.
It seems as though
my whole world has turned
into a dull grey and black mosaic.
Isn't this the same world
that glowed with warmth
and inner radiance
only months ago?
Where has it gone?
Where has it gone?
It's all vanished
with the sun.
I gave the sun away.
A dull melody plays
in a loop in my head,
a broken euphony,
only half a song.
It's sad, hopeless, dull,
but only when you listen to it.
The word 'God' is in my head.
like white letters on black cloth.
God.
I know this word,
but I can not comprehend it.
Isn't this the one
who swallowed the sun?
Law.
like white letters on black cloth.
Law.
God.
The world is lukewarm,
with broken, muttering melody.
I sit in the alley,
and lay my head in my hands.
The sun is gone.
