The sea roles on
Oak and palm reflect the wind
The petals bloom and fall
Traces the mind and recall
When the time clicks
Slip the moments slime
Countless years ago
Began the chase with daring smile
The teenager smiled in an infant
The adult shaped with an individual’s mind
What once was yours now another’s due
And you exchanged with something new
Smirking the stubborn eternity
We find our daily task
Binding the spirits with chores
Changed Today in Yesterday
Where many Tomorrows due
Then in a date if significantly flew
In some months and years
The decades follow and death nears
The physical beauty mirrored
Staring wrinkled eye and lips curled.
