The storm
grabbed the horizon
shook it ‘til it
cracked like thunder
& the rain erased
with nothing
but noise
the line between
sky & land
as they floated free
one from the other
driven now asunder
by lightning bolt
as if the God above
decided to
un-create
this earth
gone back
to before the beginning
back to the nothing
at all
before earth
was just a twinkle
in a God’s eye.
