There are just no words that could ever suffice,
to thank you for your selfless sacrifice.
You accepted your orders and took your stand,
you helped preserve the freedom of this land.
Gratefully we honor you in words we say,
though words are insufficient to repay,
the courage revealed through the great price you paid,
God bless you on this Memorial Day!

who have served and are serving still.
